Egypt cultural adventures
These are some of our most popular Egypt tours, and combine
sightseeing around Egypt's most important and historic ancient sites,
with some more adventurous activities such as overnight felucca sailboat
trips on the Nile. We generally start and finish in Cairo, home of the
pyramids, sphinx and Egyptian Museum, and then head into the Nile Valley
to explore the ancient Pharaonic sites such as the Valley of the Kings
and Karnak temple around Luxor, and the temple of Ramses II at Abu
Simbel. A felucca trip sailing down the Nile is one of the highlights of
many of these tours, and provides a relaxing and fun way to balance out
your sightseeing visits.
After Cairo and the Nile Valley, you can head into the western
deserts, to the Red Sea, or cross into Jordan to extend your adventure.
